Design Services Offered

Full-Service Design

Full-service design is the most common and most versatile design choice. This service is designed to meet the needs of large range of projects from basic decorating to major remodeling. We will start with an initial consultation to help you define your requirements and project scope, and to learn more about you, your family and your lifestyle. I will also measure and photograph your space during the initial meeting. Following our initial consultation, I will create a custom design plan for your project. Shortly thereafter, I will present your design options to you. I will be as involved in your project as you want me to be. I am able to manage your project from design inception to the placement of the last accessory. My highly qualified and specialized Design Team is available for all aspects of your project. Or if you prefer, I will be happy to work with your contractors.

Your custom designs are based on your goals and the level of help you want from me. Design plans may include any of the following: remodeled floor plans, furniture space plans, custom built-ins, room renderings, paint samples, window treatment designs, options for lighting, fabrics, accessories, furniture, floor coverings, art, foliage, tile, wood, carpet, etc.

I also provide shopping services for those just-right finishing touches. Want access to the Washington DC Design Center? Give me a call and I will accompany you on your shopping expedition.

"Instant Gratification" Consultation

"Instant Gratification" is intended for the homeowner who wants ideas, guidance, or re-arranging "right now." I will visit you in your space to answer questions and make suggestions on any element of design you would like, including (but not limited to): interior/exterior paint colors, furniture arrangement, lighting, window treatments, floor coverings, and accessories. I will help you rearrange furniture and move accessories as time permits. We will accomplish much in our two hours together. I can save you time and trouble by suggesting what you need and where to find it and by recommending ways to better use what you already have. At the end of our consultation, you will receive a copy of our meeting notes so that you can continue the project on your own.
